Hi everyone with being a registered veterinary nurse who specialises in nutrition I decided to make a range of treats without any nasties in. Most of my treats are aimed at dogs with allergies, or promoting superfoods in your dogs diet
I wanted to create a treat for dogs that can or have suffered with joint problems. I wanted to give them the turmeric for their joints in a way that they enjoyed. So I made a meat based treat with Turkey and sweet potato that is low in fat as we need to promote keeping dogs a healthy weight to aid in function of joints and added turmeric/black pepper.
Turmeric contains a compound called curcumin – which is essentially its active ingredient. Curcumin has antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, antiviral, antibacterial, antifungal, wound healing and anticancer activities. It can help fight diseases like arthritis, diabetes, cancer, liver disease, gastrointestinal issues and more
They aren't baked they are dehydrated to keep in the nutritional benefits but making the golden paste easier to give to the dogs
Filled with love and turkey meat, sweet potato, turmeric and black pepper
